A Better Understanding of Your Bra for a Better Fit
Before you can find a bra that really works for you, it helps to understand how it’s built and what each part does. Every piece plays a role in how supported and comfortable you feel.
Cups: Cradle and shape the breasts. Soft, pre-shaped, or padded, the cup construction defines your shape and support level.
Band: Wraps around your torso and does about 80% of the support.
Straps: Adjustable and responsible for the remaining 20% of support. They shouldn’t dig into your shoulders or slip off.
Bridge: The small piece between the cups. On a well fitting bra, it lies flat against your chest and helps keep everything centered and stable.
Underwire: Optional feature - a metal or semi rigid piece under the cups that gives the bra its structure.
Closures: Usually a hook and eye fastening at the back with several rows to adjust the fit. Some bras close in the front instead.

Even if it seems the same, bust size changes over time. As such, it is recommended to take your measurements on a regular basis.

Over time, even the best bras lose their elasticity. It is recommended to replace your favourites every 6 to 12 months,
depending on how often you wear them. Learn more about the life span of your bras.
Extend the life of your bras by alternating between your three favourites.
When you wear one, wash the second, and air out the third.

Your bras are the most delicate items in your wardrobe.
It is worth treating them with care.
Wash your bras by hand, in cold water. If this is not possible,
use the gentlest cycle on your washing machine.
Before putting your bras in the machine,
fasten the hooks and then place them in a mesh wash bag.
To expand the life of your bras,
use lingerie detergent or a gentle laundry detergent without bleach.
Never place your bras in the dryer. Allow them to air dry,
as this preserves the elasticity of the materials and maintains the shape of the cups.
When putting away your bras, fasten the hooks at the back and fit them straight,
one behind the other, without folding them or flipping the cups inside out.
