Cascale is a global, non-profit alliance that brings together stakeholders from the consumer goods industry to advance fair and sustainable business practices. It develops and owns the Higg Index, a suite of benchmark tools available on the Worldly platform, which enables the assessment of environmental and social performance across the value chain.
In December 2021, we became members of Cascale and integrated the Higg Index into our corporate social responsibility strategy to evaluate our performance in environmental impact, working conditions, and governance, and to collaborate with our manufacturers to improve their practices.
SETTING SCIENCE BASED TARGETS
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) defines and promotes the best practices to set science-based targets for greenhouse gas emissions reduction. They offer a range of resources and guidance to independently assess and approve companies’ targets in line with rigorous criteria.
In November 2023, we submitted our engagement to the SBTi to set near-term science-based emissions reduction targets in line with their criteria and recommendations.
